YONKERS, N.Y. – Two men were arrested late Sunday in Yonkers on felony weapon possession charges, authorities said.
Maurice W. Walker, 23, and Zachary Jerod Bonner, 23, both of Ossining, were taken into custody at 10:44 p.m. on March 17. Officers with the Hawthorne station responded to a report and later apprehended the suspects in Yonkers.
Walker and Bonner were each charged with two felonies under New York state law: second-degree criminal possession of a weapon (PL 265.03-03C) and criminal possession of a firearm (PL 265.01-B-01E). The charges stem from possession of a loaded firearm outside a person’s home or business, officials said.
