President Trump orders FEMA to withhold funds to california

This morning President trump tweeted that he has ordered FEMA to withhold Future FEMA emergency payments to the state of California. Trump faulted “gross mismanagement of the forests” for the wildfires, which have killed at least 31 people.

“His comments are reckless and insulting to the firefighters and people being affected,” stated Harold Schaitberger, President of the International Association of Fire Fighters

Currently, FEMA is actively assisting California for The Wildfires that occurred during November 08, 2018 – November 25, 2018. Survivors are being helped to determine their housing needs and working diligently to identify additional short-term and long-term housing options. How this will be affected is currently unknown.

Currently, Individual Assistance Applications that have been Approved is 6,646. The Total Individual & Households Program Dollars Approved stands at $48,780,241.37
