Slim New Hampshire Victory for Bernie Sanders

Senator Bernie Sanders is taking home the 1st in the nation’s primary New Hampshire. But only this time by a few 1000 votes. The Democratic presidential hopefuls are now getting a better picture of where they stand with voters with 97% of precincts reporting. Sanders leads the way with people Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar rounding out the top three.

 It was a slim victory for Bernie Sanders so small that both he and his closest competitor chose to celebrate in the first of the nation’s primary. Bernie Sanders celebrated with supporters in Manchester despite eking out that victory by the smallest vote share recorded in New Hampshire in 6 decades. South Bend mayor Pete Buttigieg was on his heels Hampshire primary gave momentum also to Minnesota senator Amy Klobuchar after spending a lot of time canvassing the granite state.

 Bernie Sanders preached Democratic Party unity during his victory celebration in Manchester no “matter who wins, and we certainly hope it’s going to be us We’ve going to unite together We are going to Unite together and defeat the most dangerous president in the modern history of this country “ Bernie said. Now being only slightly edged out by Sanders was enough for Pete Buttigieg to celebrate, he congratulated the Vermont senator but declared he would be the one to win the White House. “So many of you decided that the middle-class mayor and a veteran from the industrial Midwest was the right choice to take on this president not in spite of that experience, but because of it, “ Pete Buttigieg was quoted as saying during his post-election speech.

 Now Apparently, sensing the outcome Joe Biden left New Hampshire before the polls close heading to South Carolina how he told supporters there that he’s not fazed by the New Hampshire primary because it didn’t include a large amount of minority voters base that he hopes to court in the coming votes. For her part, Elizabeth Warren said her campaign was just getting started but also told supporters both Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg would be a far better president than Donald Trump. New Hampshire marked the Swan song for candidates Andrew Yang and Michael Bennett both announcing they’d be suspending their presidential campaigns Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick is also expected to indicate if he’s going to continue sometime today.

So, what is next? Democratic caucuses will be held in Nevada that’s on Saturday, February 22nd, and then that’s followed by the Democratic primary in South Carolina that comes up on Saturday, February 29th, but this leads up to super Tuesday. Super Tuesday this year is March 3rd.
