Rockland County Nonessential Personnel Asked to stay home

Governor Cuomo Issues Statement

In an unprecedented statement, Governor Cuomo has Asked that all Nonessential personnel in the state are asked to stay at home starting from Rockland County and South. That is about half the workforce of New York State in that area. Why Rockland County South? That is the area of the highest density of the number of cases.

  1. I am a secretary, excuse me AAI, which work for ohm, where ALL employees are essential. When I worked for DOH a secretary was non essential.
    Yes why do we have to use our accruals when your telling Rock lander not to go to work. I do not have a fever or cold, but am over 61, with numerous medical conditions, where the state is telling me to stay home.
    Personal doctors offices had a scare and kept open there practice saw patients yet had not received notification if that person who was in there office was positive for the virus. Shame shame on them.
    now the limit of 10 or less in a room to meet. Due to closures, other staff have come to my building we are at the limit of 10 with people coming thru the office. Really
