Harley-Davidson Show Room in Nanuet Shuts Down

NANUET, NY – Another Rockland County Business Shuts Down Permanently, The Harley-Davidson dealer on Route 304 in Nanuet has closed its doors permanently. The American classic motorcycle dealer has taken its operations and combined them at its Rochelle Park, Bergen County location.

Cleared Out

Harley-Davidson leased the Nanuet showroom space in 2016. The Bergen store employee said the five-year lease was expiring this year, and it made more sense to cut their losses rather than leave the lights burning.

A Rochelle Park Manager said, “It’s unfortunate, but the coronavirus forced us to shut down, we had been doing fine. But our business takes place in the spring/summer, and people are not going to be buying bikes.”

Harley-Davidson, Inc is a publicly-traded company. The Company stock symbol: HOG is slated to beat earnings estimates when it releases first-quarter 2020 results on Apr 28, before the opening bell. The Zacks Consensus for the quarter’s earnings should be at 50 cents per share on revenues of $1.07 billion.

Nevertheless, the manufacturer is expected to have faced a decline in sales volumes amid this global pandemic. They are enhancing worries, specifically in April, where motorcycle demand is expected to drop to historically dwindling numbers. The coronavirus situation also predicted to have hurt Harley-Davidson’s sales due to factory closures and manufacturing shutdowns.
