GREENBURGH, N.Y. — A 25-year-old Elmsford man was arrested Tuesday night for driving while intoxicated, according to state police.

Jeovanny Almazan was taken into custody at 9:22 p.m. on April 8 after a stop in the Town of Greenburgh. Police say his blood alcohol content was at or above 0.08 percent.

Almazan faces two misdemeanor charges under New York State law. One count is for DWI, and the second is for operating a vehicle with a 0.08 percent or higher BAC. Both are first offenses.

The arrest came just 15 minutes after the incident was reported to the Hawthorne station. No injuries or other vehicles were involved.
