EXCLUSIVE: Aftermath of Wednesday Night’s Stabbing Caught on Camera

Nanuet, New York — On Wednesday, the Clarkstown Police Department responded to a stabbing at 75 North Pascack Road around 9 pm.

According to Police, the stabbing left a 26-year-old woman, as well as a 24-year-old male, both of Nanuet, stabbed by an individual with a blade.

An investigation found that Forrest began arguing with his ex-girlfriend in front of her house, at which time another friend of the woman tried to interfere, police officers claimed.

The man, later identified as 30-year-old Spring Valley man Kirwan Forrest “became enraged,” Clarkstown police said and slashed both people.

Kirwan Forrest fled but was later found at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was being treated for his injuries that he sustained during the fight.

The man was stabbed in the neck, and the woman was cut on the forearm, Police said. Both are recovering in the Nyack Hospital, and none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

Upon review of surveillance footage, Rockland Daily News found that several neighborhood cameras had captured both video and audio of several of the moments surrounding the stabbing and the aftermath.

In the first sound clip. Recorded from a neighbor’s doorbell camera nearby across the street from where the stabbing took place. Kirwan could be heard banging on the door just before the ensuing argument.

In the second video clip, a homeowner’s security camera, Registered with the Clarkstown Police Department Camera Registry Program. The program allows citizens and business owners to register the locations of their video surveillance systems with the Police Department. Using the geographic locations of the registered cameras.

The recorded audio and video. In the scene, located a block away from the stabbing scene. People directly related to the stabbing can be heard on the video. Several minutes later, Police arrive at 14 Forrest Brook road, an address where Kiren Forrest was either known to live or previously lived. Moments after the stabbing, People can be seen arriving at the home then speeding off in a black car just before the Police arriving and surrounding the home.
